The surgery now has its own Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The aim of the group is to make the surgery work better for patients and staff alike. This not just for complaints but to see how we can improve the services we already offer and maybe offer some new ones. If you would like to participate you would need to be able to spare some time to attend the meetings and maybe do some promotion work occasionally on the current and new services provided in the surgery. We want the group to bring patients closer to the practice and give them a louder voice.
Ideally we would like a mixed race group to include all ages gender and abilities to enable full representation of our practice population.
If you wish to be heard please contact by the means detailed below. The current group runs roughly every 3 months in surgery for about an hour.
Should you wish to join the group or want more information then please ask at reception. We hope to have you onboard soon!
There is also a Hyndburn multi PPG that now runs too which involves a few members from each of Hyndburn's PPG groups attending a meeting together to discuss common issues and goals.
Leave us a Review!
If you have a couple of minutes we would very much appreciate it if you could leave us a review on the NHS UK website: www.nhs.uk/Services/GP/Overview/DefaultView.aspx?id=36232
We welcome all types of feedback both positive and negative as this gives us valuable insight into where we can improve the practice.
