Evening and Weekend Appointments
Apart from the Wednesday evening appointments at our surgery extra appointments are also available every evening and weekend during the daytime but they may not be at Blackburn Road. To book these simply ask at reception and we will be happy to help. There is availability for GPs, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Nurses.
Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed, if you have a medical emergency the number to ring is 111. If you are unsure then ring the surgery and an out of hours message will direct you to the most appropriate source of help.
Between 6:30pm and 8:00pm Monday to Friday please contact the surgery and follow the instructions given.
Urgent care centres are situated at:
- Burnley General Hospital
- Royal Blackburn Hospital to 24 hrs
- Accrington Victoria Hospital 8.00am to 8.00pm
