Methods of ordering repeat prescriptions are;
- Order online (NHS App)
- Order by post or delivered to Blackburn Road Medical Practice, by ticking the items you require on the white part of your prescription (issued by the pharmacy with your medication)
- Order by telephone – after 2.30pm – If you are clinically exempt and this has been discussed with the practice.
Acute Medication
If you are acutely ill, any medicines you need will be prescribed on an acute basis at the point of your consultation with the clinician. These cannot be re-ordered through the online apps and you should telephone the surgery after 2:30pm.
Thank you for your support and understanding. Your prescription will be ready within 48 hours provided it has been approved by your GP.
Please contact the practice if you have any queries, require any further information, or would like to sign up to online ordering.
